CONCEPT

A composition built from collected forms.

Soft geometries — circles, arches and fragments — are arranged into a balanced structure that feels both intuitive and architectural.

In the diptych version, the composition extends across two panels, creating a dialogue between forms — where shapes continue, shift and respond to one another. This introduces a stronger sense of rhythm and spatial presence.

Light interacts with the relief throughout the day, revealing depth, shadow and subtle movement.

A mirrored version of SHAPES COLLECTED no 1. Creating designs like these helps to use the material to 100%, leaving no waste. SHAPES COLLECTED no 1 and SHAPES COLLECTED no 2 can be composed into quadriptych (composition of 4 pieces)

MATERIALS

The surface is finished with hand-applied plaster, creating a soft matte texture with a natural, tactile quality.
Layering creates gentle tonal variations that enhance depth and shadow.

The internal structure is lightweight and serves as a base for the sculptural surface.( building board, wooden frame)
